Girls are not educated further due to the poor economic condition of poor and middle-class people in the country and the lack of resources. Therefore, to further educate and uplift such girls, this Udaan scheme has been started under which girls are given scholarships for higher education after passing class 12. Some of the objectives of this scheme can be written as follows:

• To increase the rate of registration of female students in all the technical institutes (engineering colleges) of the country.
• Bridging the gap between entrance examinations for technical education and higher secondary education

CBSE UDAAN Scheme Benefits(सीबीएसई उड़ान योजना की विशेषताएं और लाभ)

• Under CBSE’s UDAN scheme, girls passing the 12th examination will get scholarships for admission to engineering and medical colleges.
• Video tutorials and notes for writing and reading will be given both online and offline.
• Apart from this, so that there is no problem in purchasing expensive books, they will be made available online on the board’s website.
• Apart from this, eligible candidates will get a tablet or money can also be given to buy the tablet.
• Under the scheme, virtual classes will also be organized in 60 centers in major cities of India.
• If a girl has obtained more than 75% marks in the classes run under the UDAN scheme, then the government will bear the expenses of such girl’s education, hostel fees, and admission fees.
• Under the scheme, girls will also be advised to learn based on ability.
• Under the scheme, girls will be completely monitored and taken care of and their parents will be given their feedback.
• Under the scheme, a helpline number will also be started for female students so that their problems can be resolved.

CBSE UDAAN Scheme Eligibility(सीबीएसई उड़ान योजना के लिए जरूरी पात्रता या योग्यता)

• The female applicant candidate must be a native of India.
• Only girls can avail the benefits of this scheme.
• It will be mandatory for the female applicant of this scheme to get at least 70% marks in class 10th.
• The annual income of the applicant girl’s family should be Rs 6 lakh.
• The girl applying should have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology subjects in class 11th.
• The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those female students who have a CGPA-8 in all subjects.
• Only female students scoring more than 70% marks will be able to apply online for this.
• Under the scheme, more attention will be given to medical and engineering fields, hence there should be a 9 CGPA in science and mathematics subjects.
• Under the scheme, 15% reservation will be given to Scheduled Castes, 7.5% reservation to Scheduled Tribes, 27% reservation to Other Backward Classes, and 3% reservation to PWD.
