Sikkim Skilled Youth Startup Scheme Eligibility(सिक्किम स्किल्ड यूथ स्टार्टअप योजना के लिए योग्यता)

• Applicant should have own identity certificate or father should have Sikkim subject certificate or identity/residential certificate for an urban area.
• The applicant must be unemployed have a minimum educational qualification and have passed at least class 5 from any recognized school for technical projects applicants must have a certificate from a technical institute.
• The age of the applicant should be between 18 years to 45 years at the time of applying.
• Only one member of a family can avail the benefits of the scheme.
• The total income of the family including yours should not exceed Rs 8 lakh per year. In the case of unmarried beneficiaries, the family includes parents and siblings and in the case of government servants, only children of C and D employees can avail of this benefit.
• The scheme consists of beneficiary subsidy and contribution at 5% of the project cost.
• The beneficiary should not be a defaulter of any nationalized bank/institution/co-operative bank/any financial institution.
• A person who has already received a subsidy under CMSS/PMEGP will not be eligible for this scheme.
• A trade license is necessary for all types of projects and businesses.
• The applicant falling in the category of disabled person will be the first claimant under the scheme and will get a 50% subsidy on the loan.
• The project cost will include capital expenditure and three months of work which will determine the capital requirement of the venture on a project basis.
