Odisha Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Benefits

• This scheme by the state government will benefit the economically weaker citizens of Odisha.

Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Guidelines

• You will be required to upload all the documents in the BSKY application within at least 7 days for settlement of claims for settlement of packages under the scheme.
• But if you upload it after 7 days of discharge then your application will be rejected.
• The claim will be paid to the beneficiary of the scheme within 4 weeks under the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) electronic transfer.
• Under the scheme, if the beneficiary has to undergo multiple surgical procedures (multiple surgeries) in OT, 100% of the package rate will be given, the second surgery will get 50% of the rate and the third and subsequent surgeries will get 100% of the rate, 25% will be paid.
• If the documents required during claim settlement are not provided, then the hospital will have to upload those documents.

Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Card Benefits

• Under the scheme, BSKY health cards will be given to all the beneficiaries, by showing that they can get treatment in the hospitals associated with the scheme.
• It is a 64 KB chip-based SCOSTA card offered by BSKY, on which a unique card number and name of the head of the family are printed.
• The names of the family members, their age, gender, demographic information, their Aadhaar card, their unique smart card number, and their relationship with the head of their family, etc. are stored on the chip installed on this smart card.
• Under the scheme, this smart health card will be given to 3.5 crore members of a total of 96 lakh families in the state.

Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Eligibility Criteria

• All beneficiaries will be eligible for free health services in government healthcare institutions under the scheme, irrespective of their income, status, or residence.
• Insurance covers up to Rs 5 lakh for every family and up to Rs 10 lakh for female head members of the family will be provided, under which the following eligibility criteria are given:
  • The applicant must be a native of Odisha state.
  • Biju Krishak Kalyan Yojana cardholders can avail the benefit of the scheme.
  • National Insurance Scheme card holders can avail the benefits of the scheme.
  • All BPL card holders will get the benefit of the scheme.
  • The benefit of the scheme will be available to all those families whose annual income is Rs 50,000 (for rural areas) and Rs 60,000 (for urban areas).
